So What do YOU Need to Do to be Sure You’re Prepared?

 

PREPARE TO ZOOM!

Here are a few tips to make sure your interview or zoom session with me is a success:

BE CAMERA READY
I want to see your face and record you, so please be camera-ready!

Be aware of your background.

For a professional recording please remove as many distractions as possible. Camera-ready simply means comfortable enough to speak with me (and/or others) via your webcam ; )

CHECK YOUR GEAR
Your computer or laptop should be equipped with a webcam, microphone (not required) and good speakers (earbuds are recommended)

CONFIRM YOUR CONNECTION
A strong internet signal is a must for laptops and an ethernet (wired) connection is highly recommended. For tablets, a strong WiFi connection is preferred.

Close everything but the browser to open zoom, even social media to ensure good connectivity.

DOWNLOAD ZOOM
Zoom will download automatically when joining a meeting, however, we recommend downloading the free software in advance of the meeting. IT’S BEST TO BE IN FRONT OF YOUR DESKTOP/LAPTOP COMPUTER

There’s a big green button titled “share screen” that will be located in your control panel once you are connected.  After clicking it, you can share your screen and we can discuss whatever we need to…
